These 2 Maya girls are in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. They wear the traditional dress of that village, including the tocoyal (headwear). Their huipils (blouses) are excellent examples of Maya weaving.They are standing in front of a stone wall made of volcanic rocks. Santiago Atitlan is wedged between 3 volcanoes and Lake Atitlan.
